I heard that rome wasn’t built in a day, in this case what tells this to me, After all, I hope I’m on my way It’s hard to believe that I can’t believe what I see, I check a mirror to prove I’m here shitty grey hair grow everywhere, I sit and hide and try not to be scared with a deep believe that I will end up here quite nervous and down, I’m excited to have you around tired of the same old way, you always treat me well, so I’m here to stay ash and glass to the floor I feel home when I feel warm, once I tried to start again, but I ended up here again
remember the old shine, bland colors of a long gone time, how did I deny this tragedy, a place to rest my feet is always nice to me wherever I go, I roam, I know you took my soul (spit me out) without control old echo stops to bounce, read the signs, the only way goes down, how can I convey this tragedy words and chords and melodies are everything I need nicotine and alcohol, so dangerous and beautiful like you my dear, my sweetest fear, I’m addicted to you

you try again, finding a way and wish away the rain, name a home and settle down, you’re not the only one so I tell you again, it’s not in our hand to deal with wrong alliance, otherwise there’s no reason to belong it makes no sense to get up every morning, to do or feel anything through and through I need to get closer to you, but everything I do is wrong, till I’m dead and gone, I tell you again, it’s not in our hand
I’m hanging for hours on the phone, it seems to be close to the bone, I’ve got nothing left to say what should I do to make you stay, call me callous, call me what you will, I wish you were mistaken, I hope I could explain what that means, I guess this is a problem or just hell, I note I can’t condem can’t stand my burdens, my concerns, so I pretend been into your plans but all I ever want is to deal with myself
I want to forget, I don’t want forgiveness, I guess I need a rest, I want to act right and righteous, sick of being upset, of empty promises, mess me up, let me feel this can’t be real I need an upgrade, but instead I remade old mistakes and I try to fix, even though I know I still reach the opposite
smoke and booze, a few tattoos, just for fun, helps to get right through, helps to forget that we don’t have a clue, so this is for you, if you’re confused too we can’t let it go, and we think we know, when we grow wrong, instead we make it worse and that’s why we have the right to drink too much, nothing helps, it’s all about killing time, when you’re not ready for this ride, give me a sign to say goodbye all the nights and all the thoughts, empty bottles and half empty hearts, nothing can satisfy our thirst, but it’s not that bad, as I thought at first
last round ringing and I’m still singing songs about liquor and lonely nights on a sidewalk, on an alley without a goal, it starts fo feel like home and for another 100 times, I will ask myself why you gave me that smile last round ringing and I’m still singing along with you, with a bottle for two, as long as I fail I try to set a sign to leave everything behind and mile after mile, I’m sorry for your discomfort, but we both know that I’ll have to go

cheers old friends, cheers good party, cheers memories, I know you leave me and how you looked, it's almost gone tonight, when I try to cure, to fight, turn all the wrongs into right, to face all my tries to change but I collide, end up and finally find, just another whiskey night, cheers old foes, cheers bad party, cheers sweet face and your perfect body, is almost gone, without a word, without a sound
I try not to waste another thought about this and how this will end, so I hang around and watch the world go down till my time is up it’s always too soon too fast too late to say, that I’m alright, I’m okay while you build me up, you cut me down, I can’t reach a level of just feeling fine, that’s all I got to get over it. about this and everthing, guess I have to be here, listen to what’s to do, wish you could see that I don’t care, with this situation in its own way, with this situation you never understand
after all these days and nights, I lay in bed, I count the hours to hold on, to rest and take a breath when I stand my man, it’s driving me insane, I need to get low again before I got carried to close, put into something, I never want to turn the stone to see that there’s nothing, but the same in grey and blue thoughts running wild to end up in nothing, like an echo in my head, everything comes back whatever gives me relief, you already know what I need
decisions I’ve made keep me awake, a constant out of range mixed up what seemed safe all the sad songs swinging in my whiskey head, a start comes still to an end and that’s why I, I drink, up to the bottom, like I did it for years, there’s a reason, always somewhere, so many things let me feel this way down I deserve what I get and that’s okay for now so sad that the pain is the only static thing, that remains I don’t want because I can’t create an open end, even though this would be a sweet mindgame
with pockets full of bitter pills and dreams, my ears hear the sound of my younger years, I can’t still believe I made it through the week, and now I’m here, wherever the hell that is it’s up to me and my weak knees when rainy days get the upper hand, for now I know I have enough goals I can’t reach, my weak knees brought me here wherever the hell that is with pockets full of doubts and no trust, it’s really worth to know, that I can’t rest in happiness, but something keeps me going on that way, even if it seems more and more quite the same

I like the smoke, the smell of dirt and dust, I like your look, your design, your name and taste, I like the sleep, as long as I’m waking up, I try to hold what I broke, and when I see what you’ve done to me it’s all forgiven when you’re gone, and when I’m gone everything will be done and forgotten
bring a bottle of old grand dad, 2 packs of your cheapest cigarettes, I hang my head just for a little while it starts to heal when it’s time bet on the wrong game i'm in, swim the oceans of sin, kiss the flames again like the bar mirror man eyes seeking for some help, in a glass when the warmth flows downwards to forget again, how this all starts head home alone, through the dark or Into the sun, thats means to refill again, it's the last chance to end or to begin Refill again, that's the only thing that we can
